Welcome to the Badminton Section!

We have club nights on Monday and Thursday evenings from 8.00-8:30 onwards (until either your home commitments complain or your body aches too much!!)! The first time is free then the following three times you come down we get you to pay £4 to decide if you like us (then if so, we suggest becoming a member).

If you join half way through the season then membership fees are pro rata.

The hall is always ours (unless being used to raise money/home match), so if you found some other members to play, you could play whenever the court was available. Match teams tend to have practice times too. One of our members is an ex-national Jamaican badminton player and qualified coach, and is around if you wanted to brush up your skills, but failing that we have a couple of friendly county players who are happy to offer advice at your request.

We pay £1.00 for shuttle money on Mondays and Thursdays.

If you wanted to play matches and were selected, then it's £4/match. (We have two mens teams and a mixed team)

We have a juniors (under 16 years of age) informal badminton section that meet on a Friday evening and they have the option of paying £1.00 for food too.
