Catford Wanderers Sports Club - Social

Welcome to the Social and Venue Hire Section!

Our fully licensed bar and club house is open to all members and we have a very friendly social scene to complement our sports activities. The bar opening times vary and depend upon the activities going on.

The club organises events including outings such as bowling and groups going to the Wimbledon or Badminton Championships.

We have open days and other special occasions such as rounders together with the Club Sports Day where everyone, yound or old is invited to take part in such technical events as The Wheelbarrow Race or Ultimate Frisbee. Injuries are rife and cheating is unheard of!!!! The day is rounded off with the Annual Dinner and Dance where you sit down, relax and enjoy a three-course meal followed by a bit of a boogie.

Our hall is available for hire for any of your private functions such as weddings, funerals, birthdays, company meetings or just a good party!

Hire our sports pitches on a one off basis or for the whole season. We have a number of football teams using our facilities and the cricket green has also been made available. The Tennis courts are also available for hire.
